I got to this one part in the game, but then it showed an error once a good part was gonna start!!!!! grrr, I’ve tried finding the audio file but I can’t seem to find it anywhere bruh
This is a bug that has been patched in more recent versions of the game. Go into audio —> se —> duplicate any one file in there, such as 'click.ogg_' , and rename it to 'cloth.ogg_'
When I start the game, it says "Error: UNKNOWN: unknown error, open 'C:\Users\(username)\Downloads\Clinical Trial\imageStatus.json'". Has anyone else got this issue? I've been trying to fix it but couldn't for 4 hours, I really wanna play this game before I see spoilers. Here's a pic just incase:
Hi there, what happens when you do what the Error says to do? In other words, if you navigate to imagestatus.json and you open it, what happens?
Edit: The only text in imagestatus.json should be
{"101":true,"102":false,"103":false,"104":false}
That is the text in its entirety. Does your copy contain that?
And does it make any difference if you move the ZIP to a different location, such as your desktop, before extracting all and trying to open the Game.exe?
When I opened the imagestatus.json file again, it didn’t work, but when i opened another file thats hidden, which is called ._imagestatus.json, if i remember, it worked.

I was skeptical of the reviews that said this 2.5 hour game could be a masterpiece, but I decided to still give it a try because the art style was incredibly charming.
I'm not much of a sucker for romance, but this story has touched me profoundly. Hands down one of the best story games I've ever played. The characters and their dialogue are insanely realistic and captivating, by the end of it I just wished I could see more.
I needed to pause the game right at the point where we were encouraged to save before the big choice because i had another commitment and its all i could think about during that whole time!!! i loved both endings and i thought it was so fun. i love when two friendless freaks get together. awesome
Also noticed a small glitch when ever you use your left and right arrow keys while over the save button it will crash the game nothing game braking just thought to point it out
I love this game. I love the art, I love the sound design. This game, however, is not for the faint of heart. It is real and painful. It's also funny and wild. It has endearing characters and a compelling plot. I can recommend, but read the warnings tab. This game has very real depictions of what's in that tab, as well as triggering things not listed in the tab. So... you've been warned! ...but if you give this game a shot, I hope you enjoy it!
i really love this game, it made me feel emotions i just hadn't felt before. i rarely think something is my favourite x immediately after playing it or watching it or something, but this is genuinely in competition with anything for my favourite game. this is really something special.

Yeah nothing happens :(. I tried deleting the old folder and redownloading everything but no dice. I'm pretty new to itch games though so maybe I'm missing something obvious >.<
i love this game, i may not understand the deeper parts of it but it was truly a fun game that somewhat connected with me. i feel angels life quite a bit.

To be honest, I watched a video titled Me and Mr. Wolf and I loved the edit so much, and when I saw the game title it was based on, I knew I had to know what it was about. I watched ManlyBadassHero's playthrough and fell in love with the story and characters. I love how the game made me think it was a horror thriller as I questioned what was in the syringe, then it turned into a slice of life of sorts getting me more connected with the game, and deep down I knew something bad was going to happen, but I let the wholesomeness blind me until the twist ending hit me like a power drill. I was not ready for the trauma! Well done homie. Absolute Cinema!
I played ending 2 first and I loved it, then I did ending 1. It pained me to choose reject, and the ending hurt even more. I came to this game from a youtube video and now I am left emotionally crushed and confused. WHAT?!?!? I dont know what to say or how to feel right now. I am in love with this game now, I cant even believe this was FREE?!?! Thank you
btw if you got stuck in lee's bedroom (like i did for an hour ;-;) make sure you interact with the right half of the desk found in the bottom right of the room

I can't get the game exe to run. Has anyone else run into this issue?
What specifically happens when you right click on the Game.exe and select 'Open'? Are you saying nothing happens at all?

For those of us on Linux, the Windows version of this game runs quite well with rpgmaker-linux. Just unzip it and run it with e.g.
Tested on Debian 12 with GNOME. The same Debian 12 running Sway WM did not work.
