Неимоверная нудятина

this game is REALLY good. super interesting stuff

Yo i cant download it for some reason its coming as javascript:void(0)

So this was...a true gem. A surprise. I had no idea what to expect and the narrative just blew me away. Every time I thought I had things figured, another curveball. 10/10

Great game, fantastic atmosphere!

omg I didn't know that THIS MASTERPIECE WAS OUT FOR FREE????? definitely will be playing it by myself.

yay

played this after it was mentioned in the tags on a post on tumblr about free games that completely changed the person playing them, and I can absolutely see why.

i was caught off guard by all the little twists, and thoroughly enjoyed going back to make different choices and find both endings.

i think this gives a very good perspective on folks with ADD, especially when going through a traumatic situation, and touches on heavier topics in a very respectful but still interesting way.

i am curious though- was there intent to portray Lee as somewhere on the autism spectrum? i ask because i found myself relating to his character a lot in addition to Angel (in the beginning at least), I have both ADD and autism, and his personality in that aspect also added to making the game a lot more interesting to me at least, and made me more excited to come back to it after working through about half of it in the first sitting.

I want to speak or text with the creator, I'm filled with love by this master pice that knock my door and put me a diferent way to run my life. i just want to support this histories that could be true in some points

I just finished this - thank you, Homie, I loved it! <3<3<3

why move with arrow keys and not WASD

Those are just the RPGMaker MZ default controls.

ok

I loved this game. You are a wonderful developer and your work absolutely deserved to be noticed. I wish I could gush about it somewhere.

this is so good! <3

Really amazing game,,I cried for both of the  endings😭..I love them all...Thank you so much for everything❤️❤️🌹🌹🌹lovelovelovelovelove

HIII!<3 HOMIE! :3

SPOILERS!!!

i love how "accept" is the second option after "reject" when we have a choice. making you have to move the cursor to select it emphasizes how both angel and the audience have to make a conscious effort to understand and empathize with lee's behavior. clever use of UI for storytelling and thematics.

i agree, honestly was my favorite ending

A beautiful and artistically stunning game about two people who thought they failed at life, but (if you make certain choices) found a new sense in each of them. This game touches on certain topics in a subtle yet respectful way, and not many games do nowadays

Loved every second of it, can't wait to see more of the creator <3

Will the game be released on Steam? If yes, then I will buy this game right away.

Probably not, download it here while you can!

I believe you can add non-Steam games to your Steam library, though. If you want.

very. fucking. good. job.

By far the best game I played on itch.io

I am truely thankful and happy for being able to play this game

Just finished this game.. it is one of the best visual novels i had the pleasure of experiencing. Thank  you so much. I will definitely replay it after i let it sink in <33

I wish there was an Android download

No Android port, but you can try to follow the steps listed in the "Instructions for Android" tab to run the game.

Wow, I feel really guilty. I enjoyed it so so much, would be a shame if the people behind this gem would get nothing from it. Where can I donate? Tip? ect.

Can't accept monetary payment at this time but positive comments and reviews are very much appreciated. Thank you!

are there plans for a native linux release?

No, sorry. I’ll copy-paste a couple comments from people who ran the game on Linux a few months ago, in case it helps you.

From kodr1iaqmgvswek:

For those of us on Linux, the Windows version of this game runs quite well with rpgmaker-linux. Just unzip it and run it with e.g.

rpgmaker-linux --gamepath /home/you/Clinical\ Trial/

Tested on Debian 12 with GNOME. The same Debian 12 running Sway WM did not work.”

From Scutoidlim

“By the way, just so you know, the game runs just fine under WINE on Linux. If there had been any problems I bet you Proton would have dealt with them, but there were no issues with plain old regular old WINE. So that was neat.

I installed it from the WineHQ repo. I'm on Wine 10.0, running under Fedora Linux. “

This game really pulled me in because of my interest in psychiatric drugs.
And honestly, I'm super satisfied with playing it.
It represents the perspective of someone with ADD so well, and the detailed settings made me even more hooked.
If there's ever a chance, I’d love to see a sequel come out!

helloo i need a little help with the save screen.. occasionally when i try to save it shows me with a type error message.. :(

The menu is finicky for some people. It might help to navigate it slowly and not press any keys other than the up/down arrows and escape/return when the menu is open. Sometimes inputs from other keys seem to cause a problem. Sorry about that.

okay!! i was able to fully play it without manually saving surprisingly.. really great game! thank you :3

beautiful game!! i loved that both of the endings made sense, but still couldn't help feeling sad about the first one 😭

This is truly one of the best games I have played this year. It has an incredibly engaging story and interesting characters. I was captivated right off the bat (which doesn't happen often). I 100% recommend this to anyone who likes psychological horror or visual novels.

easily one of the most engaging stories I’ve experienced in quite a while, triple A games included.

I especially enjoyed the sound design, it perfectly fit the mood.

kudos, homie, keep it up.

ts too peak !! i love them sm..!!!!! thank you so much homie for bringing us this game. its so comforting for me.

Hi, THIS IS MY FAVORITE GAME! because there's so much fan content like comics and fics! I'm wondering if there will ever be a sequel or maybe a game with a similar premise? thank you!!

This game is so peak i should draw them rn!!

What a great game. The buildup was fun and the interactions felt real. Whatever choice you make, the reasons put make sense either way, and don't feel forced.

Thank you~

Hey dude, I'm planning on making a fan Ukrainian language patch for this game! Are you okay with that??

If you are, then contact me on twitter or discord, so I can send you the patched version of the game when I'm done. Both twitter's and discord's usernames are  @gamer_huila34 / gamer_huila34 :DD

If it weren’t for the Turkish patch, I wouldn’t have been able to play it... but I’m so glad I did. The character designs, the plot, and all the twists were honestly amazing for me. I feel so lucky to have played a game like this; it even left an emptiness inside me after I finished all the endings... Thanks for letting us experience this story Homie ^^

I'm really looking forward to the new games you'll make!

I'm very grateful to the fan translators who have made it possible for the game to reach more players like you. Glad you enjoyed it, thanks for playing!

Hi homie!!! absolutely LOVED Clinical Trial, your writing and storytelling are top notch.

Out of curiosity, do you have any other projects planned? Because I would love to see what else you could create in the future. Anyways, thank you for making Clinical Trial! I absolutely adore it!!

oh my gosh this game was amazing. made an account just to comment on your page
