Does this game happen to require use of the up and down arrow keys, or just the left and right ones? I’ve heard great things about the story but my keyboard’s busted.
You can move on the map and select choices by clicking on them instead of using the arrow keys. There's one (nonconsequential) choice near the end where you might be stuck with fewer options, but I think you can still complete the game.
excellent writing, really appreciated angel having POTS haha, the small details like that were great. laughed at the comment on angel's art where the person said "im not a furry BUT" hahaha, too real. great game, amazing post-game extras, too!
ty, Homie, peachy and desesseintes for a game - really atmospheric thing
** SPOILER **
music and visuals were trying to point like Lee's a bad guy and made me think that he's just shy weirdo who tries to help, but not a maniac (too obvious to be true). And then it flipped to the opposote and once more back. Still not sure about him and would I trust him as Angel, but at least there's good ending for them :)
ps: mid dialogue save'd be nice (im used to renpy)
Thank you for making such an amazing game. I connected with Angel way too much. I never saw so much of myself in one character before. Turns out, I have adhd too, just like Angel. If I never played this game, I never would of researched inattentive adhd, and I never would of seeked out a doctor to get tested. Thank you for bringing awareness of adhd to me.
hey, I'd like to report a bug on where Brandon picks a number, I can't really pick one, the arrows are bugged and all I can pick is number 1, also forgot to mention midway, the controls are bugged and are not working as intended, esc makes the dialog go faster, z and x does the same. I really can't progress further because of this. Hope you'll see my comment cuz this is genuinely a peak game and I want to finish it
update; I wasn't using the key button, but the escape button is still bugged and only makes the dialog go faster rather then going to the menu. Again, peak game.
You can only open the menu using the escape key when Angel is able to walk around. When you're in the middle of cutscenes or dialogue, it is true that pressing the escape key only speeds up the dialogue.
Loved it! Looking forward to more games from you, if you ever create more! 💜
I watched Manly's let's play of this and here are my thoughts:
- Loved the writing! Being an AuDHDer watching this felt like a treat. Very relatable.
- Great job with the characters' expressions and little mannerisms. Angel chewing on their (?) hoodie strings is precious. Their art is beautiful too. The little animations are cool!
- The scene girl is adorable 🥺
(SPOILERY THOUGHTS BELOW)
- Is Angel trans/non-binary? I kind of assumed right away based on the design and name, and the end bit made me even more convinced.
- Lee's upbringing gave me cult vibes, not sure if I'm way off. Also autism vibes. I really liked him honestly, he was super nice in a chill/deadpan kind of way. Up to a certain point anyway...
- I was rooting so hard for romance. I'm not sure I got what I wanted though... Before the Revelations, it really did seem like a potentially sweet relationship that raised some interesting ethical questions. Getting close and personal like that would be a HUGE no-no for anyone involved in healthcare. But it also didn't feel... morally wrong? to me.
- My heart longs for a follow-up game. I think those two post-true end would make for interesting side characters, at least. I'm so curious what their dynamic ends up being long term. Honestly, didn't expect that to be the true end at all.
Glad you enjoyed the game. I believe some of the fan translation teams who have made patches for the game used a tool called "Translator++" but that's about all I know. The unofficial translators have handled everything else themselves.
Didn’t leave a review but I enjoyed a playthrough a while ago. Game struck really deep with me, helped me find a sense of peace within myself that I’d been looking for over the years. Community is also really tightknit and I’ve been part of it for a while now, makes enjoying this game feel even better. Hoping for more works from you, homie <3 Thank you
Glad you enjoyed the game. I am going to delete your comment for its untagged spoiler because some people tend to look at the comments section before deciding whether to download or not, but thank you anyway!
Game felt extremely personal. Took me a while to finish cause I had to stop cause it felt like you were putting a mirror to what I've felt a lot. Amazing. Hoping for a sequel or just more in general from you.
