Ohhhh man, I love these two soo much. Their personalities are so cute, it really helps with the serious and depressing subjects of the story. The story was also a amazing slow burn, but then near the end holy crap. Great story, great art, great game.

I would looooove to see the story from Lee's perspective, just to get more inside details and thoughts of his obsession/love for Angel and his low view on living. I will pay 10 dollars, only cause that's all I got right now, me and Angel living that hard on cash life.
I cannot express how much I loved this. I’m a little uncertain on where else to follow the creator to get more content but I have never felt so seen and so able to be cared for? It’s weird but this game made me feel so much.
the silly facts and the way the characters saw life…. If the creator is anything like how they wrote the characters (minus some factors that make this a horror game haha) I’d want them to be in my life. It’s tiring being so alone.
Also the attention to detail is immaculate and almost pulled me out of the immersion (in a good way) when they were going over details of the clinical trials or random bio facts that I was thinking of seconds before. Hope to see some more good shit.

I may be misunderstanding you, but when you reach the "pick a number" type menu, it opens on 1 even if the player cannot use 1 to advance the game. You use the up and down arrow keys to change the number. If you are somehow playing without arrow keys, you can pick a different option to avoid the 2 to 7 menu.

I'm loving the game so far, however I've encountered a glitch on week 4, where after I talk to Lee at the register and he says "let's head back", it reloads the same waiting room and I can't progress the game. I really wanted to keep playing , so I restarted the whole game and tried different things but the same glitch happens :,(
I thought you should know in case someone hasn't alerted you about this glitch already. I wonder if it's just my pc? I used the windows version, btw.
i had this bug too, and then i tried loading my latest save, and then i walked around to be behind lee behind the reception desk, the game loads into the examination room, letting me progress into the game normally.
if i talk to lee beside the bell (outside the desk) yes, the bug will still occur. so don't forget to walk behind lee to talk to him :)
Thank you for responding, and thank you to the OP for explaining where the glitch was, what version you were on, and what you did to try to fix it. I opened the game to check, and it's true. It was a surprise to me that the player is able to speak to Lee from the other side of the counter at all. I will amend that the next time I go in for bug fixes.

This game had me absolutely hooked from the start. A fantastic little short story that really gets you in the gut at times. Unfortunately relatable at times, entirely unnerving at other times, an overall great story with two endings that should both be seen.

I haven't used my itch.io account nor the website in years. but I came across an adorable fanart of this game on twitter, didn't realize it was based on angel and lee at first but then scrolled and saw the game itself. it instantly hooked me in.
It reminded me of my old favorite game, angels of death. so, I was excited to see what this game's story has to tell.
while i don't relate to angel entirely, i do relate in many ways.
the scene where they told lee about what happened to them not only twice, really hit me hard. Especially if you notice in the pictures where they are in bed, the surroundings have become worse and worse and the scene where they are having their vitals/blood taken, the anxiety attack and the "no" "I said no out loud didn't I?" my heart instantly broke when i realized and all of my memories have flooded back. good and bad.
I got both endings, the 2nd ending, the good ending, I would say, really was beautiful.
the 1st ending was good too, tough but ouch.
this game is short and simple to play, but it really does have a special spot in my heart now.
it's incredible that this game was free, the creator did a wonderful job.
Played this on call with my boyfriend and we're absolutely hooked on this game!! Wonderful game and the sprites are so cute!! The music and sound had me on edge but was such a soother in the cute scenes!! Loved it!!! :-)

when i first heard about this game, i was literally on vacation at a nice beach, and the premise was so intriguing that i was itching to go back home on my computer to play it.
now that i am home and sat down to play it, 100% i am OBSESSED with this game and its implications. upon playing it a second time, there are so many small yet important details that make the whole story so convincing and captivating, some for me were a little "blink and you'll miss it" moments when i realized later on.

hey guys i really like this game but im playing on mac and i am stuck in the bathroom at lee's house on saturday and i cant get out ive tried everything i dont know what im doing wrong or if i just have discovered a bug. anyone else with a mac computer please help me
I was really surprised by this. Didn't know anything going in. Thought the first half at the clinic was interesting, if a bit slow. It did a really good job of making me feel somewhat tense despite not much going on. Felt like the other patient could've seen more use, and it felt a bit odd for us to only see Angel at home twice.
The second half was really well executed. Don't want to spoil though.
It balanced the tone pretty well between drama and more lighthearted parts. Never felt mismatched.
It's generally pretty quiet, but when the music was present it was fitting.
Really liked the art, although the different line widths in some poses felt a bit weird to me (I think mostly when Angel & Lee were sitting in the office).
All in all, pretty good, a few flaws here and there but nothing too major.
Looking forward to seeing what you have down the pipeline!
this was really good, and even though i suspected something was off the game still surprised me, the way Lee at first seems awkward but sweet and then you have him peeking through the door to look at Angel oh boy that creeped me out, both endings were great and i LOVED the detail of how they fidget while talking to eachother and avoid eye contact, really good 10/10
The game left me amazed on a deep personal level. I found myself having mixed feelings about everything as i manage to feel identified in some aspects of the characterization of both Angel and Lee.
This has inspired me to make some sort of fanfic/adaptation(?) of the events of the game in Wattpad (In spanish because i don't have the brain to write in a different language).
But i have some questions that i would loved to be answered in order to capture the game's story in a better way.

Mainly, what are the reasons that would lead to Angel's acceptance towards Lee in ending 2? Loneliness? Love?
And would you consider it the most posible ending for them both? like, establishing a deep relationship that would lead to a "Happy ever after" situation?
Or would it be just the beginning for a troubled future for Angel and Lee?
Again, i love everything about this game, and i hope that whatever i come up with is as good as the original product. Thank you for making such a piece of art as Clinical Trial is, really.
this was just. so good. I loved how real it felt. Character writing isnt always this good. You did a great job here. Angel is just like me too, seeing yourself perfectly represented in a character is surreal to see, even if its in a horror game.
