this destroyed me. i dont know if ill ever recover. going to go back and get the other endings soon

my god. oh my god. oh my god

the implication that the second ending is the true ending as well. dear lord

(1 edit)

not a fan of the 2nd ending but everything else is a 10/10

then again im just some normal ass dude so maybe i just can't really truly understand the complexities of the characters

This game is absolutely wonderful! The storytelling was done very well and I love both Angel and Lee so so much. Lee is just like me fr (minus the murdering people part)

Is there any way we can support this game financially? I would love to be able to donate or something. I would also go insane if merch was ever an option... need a little keychain or pin or something...

Absolute cinema,

any rating below 10/10 should be considered a crime

This. Genuinely hit different. I very quickly grew incredibly attached to the characters, but yet was tense the whole time (knowing it was a horror game) waiting for the other shoe to drop.

I don't know where to ask, so here goes. I have almost finished my JP translation. Can I share the patch with my people?

The short answer is yes, but I will follow up with you to discuss.

MAN I LOOOOVED THIS GAME, LEE AND ANGEL ARE JUST LIKE MY GIRLFRIEND AND I!! I loved this A LOT Thank you all for your hard work! and for posting such a great story FOR FREE for broke bitches like me!

Angel is literally me I fear

i am in massive love with this game omg

LOVE THIS GAME!!!

this game is pretty cool. angel was very relatable. 7/10 cuz I wish there were more endings

PEAK!!!!!! I LOVE THIS GAME!!!!!!! absolutely love every little detail incorporated in their interactions and dialogue it feels so awwuwuwuauuauuuwwuwauu but 2 be honest the part where lee starts to show signs of liking angel i kinda predicted how everything goes BUT ANYWAY THIS IS REALLY COOL!!!!

(1 edit)

oh my god. this game. i love the portrayals of neurodiversity and how that can affect people. the infodumping... the avoidance of eye contact... the bluntness... it's all so real.... also angel having ADD too omg my twin...

*** SPOLERS ???? ***

the inclusion of "i don't wanna be treated different because of it" from angel really, REALLY resonated with me, too. it seems to also reflect how people who don't "fit" into the normal standards of society (neurodivergents, non able-bodied people, or generally anyone seen as different/ coming from different backgrounds) feel and are most often treated. i like the representation here :3 thank you to everyone who contributed to this, u have my entire heart

both the endings give off different feelings of dread, but i think that's the point. both are understandable too i feel like. they're outcasts... somewhat, they're both lonely, and you can only do so much with what you can. the amount of little characterizations and foreshadowing in this game are so interesting to see.  it's tense, it's awkward, it's impactful, and i love it

By the way, just so you know, the game runs just fine under WINE on Linux. If there had been any problems I bet you Proton would have dealt with them, but there were no issues with plain old regular old WINE. So that was neat.

How, it didn't work for me when i did

"sudo wine Game.exe" on linux and i gave me this Error

[832:836:0315/210709.100:ERROR:dxva_video_decode_accelerator_win.cc(1372)] DXVAVDA fatal error: could not LoadLibra

ry: msmpeg2vdec.dll: Module not found. (0x7E)

so how did you install your wine?and which one?or should i just play on windows ?

now i am unsure what to do right now because i want to install it on linux to skip the hassel of switching  time to time to windows just to play video games

I installed it from the WineHQ repo. I'm on Wine 10.0, running under Fedora Linux. I haven't had any problems with it this way, so no matter your distribution I would recommend getting wine from the official WineHQ repos rather than through your distribution's packages which may be outdated or broken. Let me know if it works, and if not I could help you troubleshoot it.

It worked, i just purged everything wine related with help of this thread

https://forums.linuxmint.com/viewtopic.php?t=394972

and then installed everything with the official wiki of winehq

https://gitlab.winehq.org/wine/wine/-/wikis/Debian-Ubuntu

and Thanks for your help.

im in love w these two

I love the game but I'm unable to access the pictures in the files for redraws :(?

Here is a link to the DropBox folder that contains every image in the game organized (slightly) better than the game files.

One day, I would love to know enough about body language to have made something like this. Both of these characters resemble me so much. That little thing Lee does where he has one arm out, index finger extended, the other arm clutching his side? I've never seen a character do that before, but I do that all the time. That's some seriously accurate portrayal of autism. Same with all Angel's various mannerisms.

Incorporating worldbuilding was done so so well. Like, showing when the game takes place with the model of phone and the DSM version? Revealing Lee's birth religion as smoothly as you did, while respecting the fact that he likely wouldn't say it out loud? This is some honest to god skill right here.

Very, very adorable and creepy game. Made my mind do horrible things to root for both of these lads, and yet I always did. Glad I didn't miss the bonus cutscene; it should probably actually play automatically TBH even if it was nice to discover after the fact. Impressively animated.

Before this, I didn't know I'd probably fall victim to a creepy sheltered gay dude if he liked me that much. Now I don't know what to do with that. Probably seek some kind of help, or maybe just get a boyfriend.

This game made me really sad. Seeing a queer person be completely rejected and abused by everyone around them, and their only chance at happiness being accepting the man that stole their jacket to masturbate with is depressing. If that was your intention, then great work!

lazy ragebait

was being serious, I thought this game was about how neurodivergent women often end up in abusive situations because of a lack of resources. If not then oopsie on my part I guess

angel's not a woman

(1 edit)

oh I honestly didn't know that, my bad

edited my original post to not misgender, thanks for letting me know

This is probably my RPG maker GOTY. I went in blind knowing absolutely about this game and without saying too much. The first ending had one of the most shocking twists I've ever seen in a RPG maker horror game. I'm definitely looking forward to future titles from you. Anyway here is my live stream of the game. Sadly I only got one ending because it took longer than expected

OOo so I made an account just to express my thoughts.

This game was good. I appreciated the incorporation of mental health being discussed in terms of struggles people can encounter like Angel. She is very pitiful...the background discussing vaguely regarding her family life, her roommate situation, her job having great demands for her despite communicating how expendable the workers are, and finally- her loneliness that is pretty much inevitable with a life as hard as hers. It makes sense she would trust in Lee, especially when he offers financial support in the beginning to cover for her not going into work, while also showing concern to her situation- as this concern from anyone was a foreign feeling. It's heartbreaking how she has a lack of love in her life, and we see this again when she discusses **mild spoilers** how she would love to turn into an animal to have a set purpose in life essentially, when explaining why she adores drawing animals.

So that being said, Angel is very fleshed out and I really like that.

However, ***MAJOR SPOILERS BELOW***

Lee is your typical yandere as we see near the end, which is still cool seeing how this could play out. I mean, despite his flat demeanor overall in the story. I think something though that just bothered me was really believing Angel would (if you chose the good ending) fall in love with him. Now, she does have a very difficult life that is devoid of love, so perhaps what Lee can provide is still something very nice despite the circumstances. Regardless of the endings and overall who he is; he has always been respectful of her choices. He never forces anything on her, and even though he is batshit crazy for what he does in the end, he seems to love her genuinely. Even though he is the predictable insane stalker type. So...it seems thinking this way, Angel could fall for him genuinely. Both of them have in common that they have been treated poorly in life, be it by family, people around them (coworkers, roommates, overall societal expectations, ex. Lee being a gifted child that then struggled in college), and so this can also overall distort their expectations for love- or at least, be more willing even if it is disordered (the obvious acts of what Lee did). However, that still does not make it too likely, I feel more like there might have been a perception of a type of girl the creator may like- such as Angel - an artsy, cute, though oblivious and pitiful...perhaps even a loser (as much as I hate that word) girl, which partially inspired the game. She can be so easily taken advantage of given her weakness (physically such as her vital signs) and difficulty in life...Lee obviously has put her on a pedestal, as much as Angel does not believe herself to be special at all- though that may cater to her appeal. In that she is so lacking in love and attention that it is a man's duty to come in and save her, especially if he is also struggling mentally and physically in life like her. She is like him- yet also amazing and perfect to him. It can be icky to some people, but perhaps others who need love so much that they can accept horrific behavior(stalking, murder...) from someone who loves them, then that is a lovely fantasy.

Game is 7/10 personally. Feels professionally done, love the characters and art that is charming. The music is also great and fitting according to what is happening in the story. I enjoyed playing! The yandere trope is just a little tiresome for me. Also...we need more Adri??? Forgive me if I am wrong, but I do not know what she contributed to the story other than describing Lee's behavior from someone else's perspective other than Angel. She had great potential for something...make more content! You are extremely talented.

Toxic yandere romance with a creepy guy?

Considering how strongly I feel about this game, I thought I should leave a review for this game, in the hopes that it can motivate the creators in their other endeavours, and to make their day a little brighter. I've tried my best at trimming down my rambling as much as possible for readability, apologies for the text block.

The game was really something special. It's rare, and refreshing to find something this well-made, passionate, vulnerable, and impactful.

The writing of the characters, the artwork, the music and ambience, were all beautiful and fit incredibly well together to tell this story. I can't say enough how much I love all these pieces and how they work together.

In short, I loved this game and everything it did. It was an intense, emotional, impactful experience and it resonates pretty strongly with me as an autistic queer. I'm writing this as of finishing my second full playthrough with the new update. I very much love the Epilogue and Cutscene that were added.

If you, the creators, are reading this, I would like you to know that I think this is one of the best things I've read, and that I would be excited to see more art, fiction, games, or whatever other medium you all work with in the future. I have deeply appreciated this game and all the work your team has done on it.

I wanted to thank you for making this game. Many of the emotions it evoked in me were ones that other games have not done before. It was tense, but a very enjoyable experience. All of the elements from the art to the soundtrack to the grounded dialogue serve to make it something really great. If you ever intend to release this game on Steam or some other platform for money, I would happily buy it. No moment in this game felt like it was forced or for shock value. You have a very respectful way of covering otherwise difficult topics.

I hope you keep creating, whether that's through more games or some other medium. You have a unique perspective and convey it expertly. Thank you again for this great game.

LOVEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE ITTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTT

I adore this game, there are so many little touches you have which just OOZE atmosphere and I’m so jealous. The pauses in text, the occasional bass-y sound effects, the tense vibes in the clinic that all these little bits amount to… everything feels deliberately chosen and/or constructed to add up to one massive vibe. I’m going to be referring to this as a case study for years.

**MINOR SPOILER**
There might be a typo on Week 8 with the sentence, “I got your number from intake form.” I’m not 100% sure, I thought I noticed a missing “the” at the last second before advancing but it but I didn’t go back to check. Sorry in advance if I just imagined it, but figured I’d mention it just in case.

Beautiful game and experience.

I shout out my thanks from Japan for your return with your wonderful game.

Wish I had the knowledge to make patches.

Homie, your an artist when it comes to both writing and drawing. this is a masterpiece in so many ways. plus, i haven't related this much to a character since i first played .flow. this was amazing, and id recommend it to anyone i know who likes rpgmaker games.
