iOS isn't possible, but @paulinhopauler on Twitter was kind enough to detail instructions on how he was able to get the game running on Android in this tweet (screenshotted below) using files from the 'Download' section of Joiplay.net.
90% of the story was amazing - interesting natural and nuanced characters and a deep message about how to help a victim of abuse, approaching that subject from different angles and with mature conclusions.
Then came the worst plot twist I have ever encountered in all of fiction, which ruined and threw away everything the game had going for it. It was so jarring, my jaw droped in confusion and I couldn't believe how the same person who wrote such an amazing story could write such a horrible ending to it.
That was also my initial reaction, and i do agree it is very clumsy and negative to the overall story, feeling more like a tiwst for the sake of having one than anything, but even then that was handled surprisingly well imo:

Lee still never gets hostile and remains respectful, which is exponentially better than what you’d expect from that sort of twist, and if you choose to accept it, is explained fairly well as one of those subconscious yet purposeful halfhearted attempts to push people away

this whole game was amazing! It has by some of the best representation of neurodivergency i've ever seen, being shown as just part of who they are rather than defining them, and it has some feelings that are very accurate and common to real life experiences (like the bit about xenofiction it mentions), it's damn perfect. It was a such a nice feeling when i noticed the hand wringing/holding on lee's sprite and it finally clicked in! I identified a lot to each character.

The beginning of the romance it sets up is really sweet, and while i initially disliked the reveal of Lee’s creep sanctuary, it’s very nice and realistic how its true nature is only really shown if you react to it with; i can somewhat identify to those subconscious yet purposeful attempts to push people away. And i love how Lee remains rational and respectful no matter what instead of becoming a stereotypical stalker, which was what i was afraid of and would’ve hurt the rep quite a bit. 10/10 shy, rapist-killing, trans-supportive, very intelligent murder husband
This was quite the game from start to finish. I oddly found myself relating to both characters. And also knowing people just like Lee and Angel. The art style was fantastic and the music was calming. Finally played this and I fear its absolute Peak. I wasnt spoiled about the story at all before I played so it was going to be about the disorder I actually have, I especially enjoyed Angel's convo about wanting to be an animal, very relatable as an auADHD person. its nice to see you make art again Homie, I absolutely loved this. Ending 2 forever <3 (I need Lee so bad)

loved it, finished it in one sitting and got both endings I don’t know if the creator intends to make more games like this but I hope they do as they are extremely talented.

The game was great, regarding cutscene art, sprites, most of the dialogue, soundtrack, etc. Not a single flaw whatsoever.
The story was amazing and ran so smoothly that i didn't even notice they became more than patient and provider. It just seemed so natural, considering how awful Angel's life situation was and how Lee offering help was like a blessing. The complexity of Lee's character was really refreshing, like he isn't a flat character that can only be catagorized bad. He's just... Lee. He does what he does to ensure Angel is happy and safe. It was also nice learning about medical stuff as the fellow dumbass i am, but i did know about the C,T,L thing immediately.
Overall the most engaging 3-4 hours of my life! A peak game indeed and i truly believe in Lee supremacy.
You can try going into the data folder and replacing Map041.json with this file. I cannot guarantee this will work.
Failing that, just redownloading the most recent version of the game that was correctly deployed is probably your best option. Holding down the return key speeds up the text. Getting back to where you were takes me about 30 minutes.

Do you plan on expanding the story? Adding more? Maybe a second game or just more lore with these two i love them a lot.

This is a bug that has been patched in more recent versions of the game. Go into audio —> se —> duplicate any one file in there, such as 'click.ogg_' , and rename it to 'cloth.ogg_'
When I start the game, it says "Error: UNKNOWN: unknown error, open 'C:\Users\(username)\Downloads\Clinical Trial\imageStatus.json'". Has anyone else got this issue? I've been trying to fix it but couldn't for 4 hours, I really wanna play this game before I see spoilers. Here's a pic just incase:

That is the text in its entirety. Does your copy contain that?
And does it make any difference if you move the ZIP to a different location, such as your desktop, before extracting all and trying to open the Game.exe?

I was skeptical of the reviews that said this 2.5 hour game could be a masterpiece, but I decided to still give it a try because the art style was incredibly charming.
I'm not much of a sucker for romance, but this story has touched me profoundly. Hands down one of the best story games I've ever played. The characters and their dialogue are insanely realistic and captivating, by the end of it I just wished I could see more.
